Sue grew up right next door to Jay Cooke State Park, through which the St. Louis River winds its way between rocky gorges, and just a short drive from Lake Superior's North Shore. Her watercolor and mixed media paintings reflect the rugged beauty of the region and her love for the area she still calls home.
