Josh Duffee and His Quartet

Tonight will be so exciting! Do not miss this special concert!

Saturday, July 10, 5 PM- 7 PM

Josh Duffee is a world-renowned percussionist who has been coming to our area on vacation since he was a child, and who returns each summer with his Big Band to perform at our music festival.  He attracted audiences from far and wide for five festivals before having to skip 2020 due to Covid restrictions.  In 2021, we’re bringing him back for a “safe” outside performance in the Hackensack City Park. The Josh Duffee Jazz Quartet will treat us to music from the 1920s-1960s, with a few ‘80’s hits thrown into the mix.  It’s the Josh Duffee we know and appreciate, but with a twist!

There is no charge to attend this concert but free-will donations will be accepted.  Bring your blankets and refreshments and join us for this memorable event!

Please follow Covid -19 guidelines from the MN Department of Health and the CDC when attending these events. For your safety & the safety of others. In case of inclement weather, the concert will be canceled.

Dos Guys is a two-man music group out of Brainerd, MN. The members are Brian Wallace and Tim Peabody. The duo has been playing music together for many years in the Brainerd Lakes area with a band called The District. In the spring of 2015, Brian and Tim were approached about playing at a local resort. After accepting and performing at that gig, things started to take off for Dos Guys. Throughout the summer of 2020, they performed at many locations in the Brainerd area as well as some locations in the Twin Cities. Over the past year, they have performed at numerous area breweries, resorts, private events, and restaurants. The duo enjoys entertaining and playing a variety of music from almost every decade in the last 50 years. One of the most enjoyable parts of any performance for Dos Guys is interacting and joking around with their audience. The 2021 season is shaping up to be a busy one for Dos Guys with over 40 performances scheduled to date. Follow their schedule on Facebook at dosguysmusicbrainerd.
